Friends of Bluemonts Showcase for Local Artists Returns at a Beautiful New Venue

Art in the Foothills, a juried show and sale featuring artists working in a variety of media, will be held in The Lodge at Boulder Crest Retreat in Bluemont, Virginia, October 18 thru October 20, 2013.

Proceeds from the show will benefit Friends of Bluemont and Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors. On Saturday October 19, from 10:00-3:00, the Blue Ridge Mountain Home Tour will be held, which will also benefit both organizations.The Lodge at Boulder Crest Retreat is a beautiful venue and boasts amazing views.
Friends of Bluemont, a nonprofit preservation organization, is sponsoring this ninth annual exhibit. Admission is free. Hours: Friday, Oct. 18, 10am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19 and 20, 10am-5pm.
An Artists’ Reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 3-5 pm.
